Yurt 2

Yurt 2 is located in a good peaceful, sunny location not too far from the main facilities but is set back slightly so is a bit more secluded than Yurt 3. It is between the two other 6-person Yurts 1 and 3, so may appeal to those booking for a large group.

Yurt 2 gets the morning sun slightly later than the other yurts but is still in a very sunny location. It has a large deck with benches, chairs, a table, chimenea, a built in BBQ and wood store. It’s close enough to the small kitchen which belongs to Yurt 1 so is ideal for sharing with larger groups – there is sufficient crockery and equipment for up to 12 people.

Inside the yurt is a super king-size bed, a Mongolian day bed and 3 single futons. It also has a Mongolian coffee table and stools and lovely Mongolian wall hangings and other items of ethnic furniture. The large crown lets in masses of light and a rain cap can be removed for star gazing on fine evenings. The central wood burning stove has a fire guard and everything you need to light your fire. The wooden floors are covered with coir matting with decorative rugs on top. We take your safety seriously so each yurt is fitted with a smoke detector, carbon monoxide alarm and a fire extinguisher. All the yurts are waterproof and thickly lined with felt for cosy warmth on cooler days.

Yurts 2, 3, 4 and 5 each have their own private bathroom near the main kitchen with a bath and a shower over, flushing toilet and hand basin with shaver light and socket.
