Ambiente Cottage - Pet Friendly

Situated in the quiet Jacaranda lined streets of South Toowoomba you will find this early 1900's workers cottage.

The cottage is uniquely pet friendly and offers a 'home away from home' for all of its guests.

Inside the house you will admire the original VJ walls and pressed metal ceiling and timber floorboards of this original Queenslander style workers cottage.

The cottage boasts three bedrooms, with two queen beds and two single beds, accommodating up to six guests.

There is a cot (not porta cot) and highchairs (2) that can be made available for your use upon request.

There is reverse cycling air-conditioning throughout to keep up with whatever whether Toowoomba throws at you!

You will find a modern smart TV with Netflix and Wifi available at the cottage and there are also plenty of books and games for additional entertainment.

There is a fully functional kitchen that includes everything (Nespresso coffee machine, cookbooks, electric mixer, blenders, baking equipment, microwave, dishwasher) including the kitchen sink. We also provide a few pantry staples to keep you going.

Currently there is 1 bathroom with a second 'emergency' toilet on the rear deck. The laundry also includes a front load washing machine & dryer for your use. Stay tuned for some exciting renovations happening in early 2023!

All linen and bedding are supplied for your stay. We even have a few doggie towels and blankets!

We also supply fresh bread & milk and a few other goodies on arrival for your stay.

Outside you will find a large, secure backyard to keep the fur and human kids entertained.

There is a cottage garden for you to admire, why not enjoy a morning cuppa on the front verandah, admiring the beautiful roses of course.

There is a back patio area with a dining table and BBQ available for guests to use during their stay.

There is also a large double bay shed that is available for guests to securely park their cars during their stay.

The cottage is conveniently situated within Toowoomba's CBD and is only a short drive to Toowoomba Base Hospital, Toowoomba City Golf Club, Empire Theatre and the City Centre.

The cottage is also in very close proximity to popular wedding venue's with Gabbinbar Homestead less than 10 minutes' drive from the cottage.

Queens Park and Laurel Bank Park are within a short drive.

Guests will also find a convenience store, and several takeaway food outlets just around the corner.

Toowoomba has plenty of ride share and taxi services available should you need them throughout your stay.

Responsible pet ownership:

** Please note if you are travelling with pets, we kindly ask that they do not be left inside unattended, any damages and additional cleaning will be charged to the guest.

**We also kindly ask that pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture. Unfortunately, red paw prints do not come out of the linen, and we would hate to have to ask you to reimburse us for the cost (I have expensive taste!!).

**We have a few bowls and pet linen at the cottage, but we recommend you bring your pets own bedding & bowls etc.

** We're lucky to have such lovely neighbours but please be respectful of them; for that reason, we strictly have a 'no party policy'. Family gatherings including lunches and dinners are welcome however please be mindful of parking and noise.
