Duck Lodge Bed & Breakfast with Hot Tub

Duck Lodge, a boutique log cabin, is located in a serene village in the South Downs. This all-wood home is surrounded by a lush garden, offering a tranquil garden location. The well-equipped interior showcases eclectic furnishings and decor, including a coffee machine, Sky TV and a sound system with a 2nd tv in the bedroom. As a gentle reminder, your private hot tub reservation is exclusively yours for two hours, between 4-9 pm. The hot tub is situated 25m away, tucked into our main patio.

The space

Duck Lodge offers a comfortable ambiance that features a lounge area with a 40-inch frame TV that comes with Netflix movies and Sonos Alexa system, as well as tea and coffee amenities available on the breakfast station. In Duck Store outside, there is a fridge with an honesty bar. The bedroom area is furnished with a cozy double bed that has fresh white Egyptian cotton linens, pillows, and a throw from "The White Company," as well as side tables with lamps for a pleasant experience. During nighttime, guests can use LED candles to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. There is also a second TV in the bedroom, perfect for snuggling up and watching a film.

Guest access

Upon arrival, a key will be provided for accessing Duck Lodge through its private entrance. In case we are not available, there is also a Key Safe for self check-in. For the security of our guests and ourselves, we have CCTV cameras installed outside our property.

Other things to note

There is a nearby pub in Pyecombe called "The Plough" that provides food service every evening until 8:30 pm. You can also grab a roast on Sundays. Another convenience is the Marks and Spencer store located at the base of the village, which operates 24/7 every day of the year. Pyecombe's natural beauty is breathtaking, highlighted by picturesque walks such as Woolstenbury, recognized as an ancient Bronze Age settlement. Another lure are the Jack & Jill Windmills, which are just a brief stroll from the village.
