The queen bed is very comfortable, the apartment clean, quiet and very private and the outdoors space is peaceful and has great views.
There is dedicated off-street parking and space to park bikes.
Children are very welcome.
The space
This loft apartment is newly completed and is unique in design. It has a large, quiet bedroom with queen bed . There is lots of storage space.
The apartment is fully equipped for independent living. The kitchen has a washing machine, fridge, oven, cook top and microwave.
The sitting room has a sofa bed that is suitable for 1 or 2 children or small adults. If you need this made up for extra guests, please try to give me as much notice as you can. I'm very happy to do this for you for a small additional cost.
Guest access
The apartment is located on the first floor above a detached garage. The building is adjacent to our home but all windows look towards open countryside and the apartment is completely private and is not over-looked. There may be occasional noise from garage doors opening and closing.
We provide dedicated parking for guests however the driveway is shared with our family and so considerate parking is appreciated.
The apartment is accessed via an outside stairway that leads onto a 15 sqm decking area. There is a small paddock adjacent to the building. A quiet country road runs past the property and is delightful for both walking and cycling.
There are no street lights near the property. The apartment has outside lighting to facilitate night time access. The night sky is often spectacular!
Other things to note
There are 3 cats and several chickens on the property.
Please keep all dogs strictly controlled. The property is not fully fenced.
We have a farm and graze cattle. Neighbouring properties graze cattle and sheep and keep chickens, dogs etc.
If you would like to walk on the farm, in our garden or anywhere other than adjacent to the apartment or on the public road, please ask us...we will try our best to accommodate you.
Breakfast is included in the room rates. Locally sourced eggs, bread and milk plus home made preserves and baked goods and a selection of cereals.
If you wish to bring your pet, please ask us first to ensure the property is suitable for them. Pets do need to be kept under strict control whilst outside as there are cattle grazing in adjacent paddocks. Pets cannot be left alone in The Loft whilst you are out exploring.
