The chalet is fully equipped for the comfort of its guests. We rely on guests to treat the premises with utmost care.
The chalet is designed for the comfort of 2 people but can always accommodate a maximum of 4 people and 2 dogs ($50 extra charge per stay for max 2 dogs) indoor and outdoor. A security deposit of $500 is required for each stay.
Niksen Cabins wishes to limit environmental impact, one night at a time. Composting and recycling are easily accessible to guests to reduce the stays impact.
We have always been keen on favouring local businesses when possible and reducing the environmental impact of stays. The quality products offered in bulk come mostly from local suppliers with eco-responsible philosophies:

PETS:
Dogs are allowed as long as they keep the place clean, quiet and without causing damage. Maximum of two (2) dogs at any one time. No cats or other animals are allowed. These rules must be respected:
Furniture : No dogs on the bed, sofa or outdoor furniture unless you use the Pooshi blankets or your own blankets.
Excrements: All droppings must be picked up and disposed of as you go in the black garbage bin near the path. Please prevent your dog from defecating in the flower beds and damaging the plants. If we find that feces and urine have been taken inside, a minimum fee of $100 will be taken from your security deposit in order to carry out the cleaning and disinfection.
Keep the boundaries of the lot : The dog must stay on the lot and not disturb the neighbors, keep it on a leash at all times if necessary. A retractable gallery fence is available.
Never tie the dog to a porch post at ground level (garden level and on the 2nd floor). Doing so may damage the gallery.
Damage to property: The renter is responsible for any damage caused by a dog and must clean and remove any hair and dirt that their dog may have left. Beige towels are available to wipe paws before entering. The chalet and grounds must be left in the same condition as when you arrived. The dog can be left alone in the cottage as long as there is no risk of damage, noise or barking by the dog. The Tenant must notify the Landlord of any breakage or damage caused during the Tenant's stay.
