This contemporary and stylish property on the lake at Encounter Bay has been extensively renovated and is now a wonderful holiday home with spectacular lake views. It has three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (including a bath), a big open-plan living area, a separate courtyard and an outdoor entertaining area with a pergola. It is located just a short flat walk to the beach, to nearby Kent Reserve and to local cafes.
The heart of the house is the open plan living, dining and kitchen area with western red cedar bi-fold doors overlooking the lake. The wall-mounted slimline HDTV (with Apple TV) is visible from all locations in this room (including the internal courtyard) and can even be swiveled to watch from outside! There is a solid timber dining table that seats 8 people, a breakfast bar that seats four, and couches and lounge chairs to relax and enjoy the peaceful ambience of Encounter Lakes.
The kitchen has a huge breakfast bar, a big walk-in pantry, a double-door fridge, a microwave, and fabulous views of the lake!
The house has three good-sized bedrooms, two with walk-in robes and the third with built-in robes. The large main bedroom has an ensuite, a Queen bed, pendant bedside lighting, a walk-in robe and plantation shutters for ambience and privacy. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a built-in robe and views through to the courtyard and the lake beyond. The third bedroom has two single beds (with a walk-in robe). The first and second bedrooms have TVs.

The beds will be freshly made for guest arrival with sheets, pillowcases and quilt covers. Bath towels, mats, hand towels and tea towels are all supplied.
This lakefront property has its own pontoon and gorgeous views of the lake through to the hills from the open-plan living area. New timber bifold doors open out onto a deck (with a pergola with lighting) and a fully enclosed rear garden. A kayak and a surf ski are provided for fun on the lake. A full lap of the saltwater lake is a 4km return trip – so there is plenty of exercise to be had for those so inclined! The floating pontoon has a swimmer’s ladder for easy access in and out of the lake.
There is a garage with internal access to the house and a long driveway that can be used for parking. There is a separate laundry with a washing machine and clothesline.
Features include split system AC in the living room, Wi-Fi internet with Netflix and Stan included, ducted evap cooling in the living room and bedrooms, dishwasher, double door fridge, timber floating floor in hallways and living area, and carpets in the bedroom.
This property is 100% pet friendly, and your well-behaved cats and dogs are welcome both inside and out! There is a fully enclosed rear yard with a lawn. There is 1.5-1.8M fencing to the sides of the property and pool fencing to the lake at a height of about 1M. There is a courtyard area to the side of the house where dogs can be secured (if necessary) that is fully fenced to 1.8M.
**SCHOOLIES - property is available with a $2,500 bond and a $250 cleaning fee for a maximum of 6 people ONLY plus $120 per person per night in excess of 2 guests. No parties are allowed at any time. **

Our standard rate is for 2 guests only. Please note that an additional fee will apply $17 per person per night in excess of 2 guests.
Note: If an extra guest after 2 is staying for 1 night only, it's $34 for 1 night.
